Welcome to Dig Deeper with Social Media: Wiki Short Course
Welcome
This wiki was used as classroom space during the Medical Library Association's continuing education course "Dig Deeper with Social Media" in Spring 2009. The Wiki Short Course was held March 9th - 15th, 2009. Over 100 participants completed this virtual, self paced class on the use of wiki software in libraries. The 'dig deeper wiki' is now primarily archival material from the course, serving as a snapshot of references, websites and resources related to wiki development in libraries in the year 2009.

Hello, from Portland Maine. I, too, am a solo librarian at the Foundation for Blood Research. I am totally enjoying this class and am finding more and more of my users are coming to me for instruction in these various web 2.0 tools. FBR is a small clinical research lab located near the coast of Maine. And, yes, it is snowing and sleeting and raining today. think Spring! - Patty
